Lawrence John Witt
February 4, 1948 – August 14, 2021
Lawrence John Witt was called to Heaven on Saturday, August 14, 2021. He was a wonderful, loving, and caring husband, always supporting his wife Phyllis. They were married 51 beautiful years. They met in high school their senior year when he was playing drums on the stage. He loved his two children Brandon John Witt and Marisa Joelle Witt immensely, and was the best father ever. He was a loving grandfather to five amazing grandchildren, Reagan, Evelyn, John, Alana, and Reid. Larry was loved by all of his extended family, cousins, and friends. He loved watching car racing, hockey, old classic movies, and SciFi movies. He loved photography. His love of music spanned many genre from jazz to 40s, 50s and 60s. He loved working on cars, especially Corvettes, and working with his hands. He loved watching the space launches from his home in Jupiter, Florida. He loved living in the country, backyard barbeques, making campfires, and growing tomatoes. God gave him many incredible gifts that he shared throughout his life with everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. Larry’s life touched so many other lives, and everyone he met was a better person because they met him. He will be so missed and he was so loved by all. Funeral services will be private.
