Obituary for Linda LaVerne Dovyak
Linda L (Jankovik) Dovyak, 66, of Winter Springs FL, former resident of Export and New Alexandria PA, passed away in the early morning of November 28, 2019 on her favorite holiday, Thanksgiving. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by her adored husband and four treasured daughters. She was born on October 24, 1953 in Braddock PA, daughter of Mary (Rico) Jankovik and the late Walter Jankovik. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband David Dovyak; brother John Jankovik and his wife Sharon, sister Cindy Manza and her husband Frank; four daughters Tammy Dovyak, Amanda Diaz and her husband Phil, Melisa Dovyak, Shawna Stafford and her husband Jeff; nine grandchildren Sasha, Samantha, Isaiah, Phillip, Aiyana, Hope, Sienna, Shyanne and Noah. Linda will also be dearly missed by all that knew her, nieces, nephews and her beloved close friends Carol Collard and husband Richard.
Linda was a devoted wife, dedicated mother and embraced every moment as Grammie to her grandchildren. She was a warm, loving, kindhearted, funny, graceful and generous person to all that was in her life. She had a one-of-a kind way of sharing her love for those around her through her extensive giving, her presentation of food and her décor for those many special celebrations and holidays. She always put an extreme amount of effort into making others around her feel loved, welcomed and important. Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32- “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday December 22nd at 2PM at the Banfield Funeral Home & Crematory, 420 W. State Rd. 434, Winter Springs, FL 32708; (407) 327-1500.
