Makayla Margaret Rose Wert, 26, of Hernando County, passed away on 7/14/2025. She was born on 3/9/1999 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was known for loving animals no matter the condition. Her passion for animals led her to multiple dream jobs of maintaining horses for several people and gaining respect from those around her. She always dreamed of owning her own ranch and adopting every animal she could.
Makayla Margaret Rose Wert is survived by siblings form both sides of the family. From the mothers' (Amanda Wert) side her brothers Carlos Alexander and Johnathon Wert. From her fathers' (Henry Rush) side her siblings include Christopher Harris, Nathan Stumpff, Natalie Lewis, Mia Rush, and Leanna Brattain. A memorial service will be held on 7/23/2025 at Banfield Funeral Home.
