Obituary for Marcia Burden
Marcia (Marci) L. Burden, 59 passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Comforter on October 17, 2018. She was born on November 2, 1958 in Wilmington, Delaware to Daniel and Marguerite Burden. Marci spent her early childhood years in New Jersey then moved to Florida in 1971. She was a 1976 Class Graduate of Winter Park High School. She served 3 years in the US Army as a medical technician, it was in the Army where she developed her compassion for serving others. Marci loved her job as a technician and caring for her oncology patients. She had quite a sense of humor and loved playing pranks on people, this was evident by her unusual laugh. Marci loved all animals but especially her dogs. She liked to bowl, spend time with her family and she loved her Miami Dolphins!
Marci is survived by her companion Kimberly Crow, mother Marguerite Burden, Brother’s Thomas Sammons: Susan (wife), Douglas Sammons: Dee Settlemier (wife), Danny Burden: Joan (wife), Sister’s Jamie Terborg, Gwen Burden, Niece’s Kelli Webber, Rachel Sammons, Samantha Burden, Nephew’s Christopher Sammons, Liam Burden.
