Obituary for Margaret B. Kuhn

Margaret Bennet Kuhn passed away on January 13, 2024. Margaret was born on September 5, 1935 to William Everett Bennet and Margaret Johnson Bennet at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Lackawanna, New York.

She grew up in Hamburg, New York where her father served as Chief Safety Engineer for Iroquois National Gas Company. After graduating from Hamburg High School, class of 1953, she attended Rochester Institute of Technology where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

She and her husband Donald William Kuhn had 2 children, Larry and Todd, prior to moving to West Palm Beach in 1961. She moved to Titusville, Florida in 1965 and worked as a substitute school teacher in the public school system. Later, she was employed at the Kennedy Space Center by EG & G Technical Services as a graphic designer. She was also an exceptional piano teacher.

Margaret was a well accomplished individual. She and husband Don both earned their private pilot certification and enjoyed flying for Angel Flight, a shuttle aircraft service to transport patients for organ transplant. She was also an avid certified scuba diver, off-shore fisherman, and teacher.

She is survived by her sons Larry and his wife Suzanne, Todd and his wife Angela, grandchildren Emily, Travis, Austin, and Joel, as well as her grandchildren Annalise and Isaac Ray, and Everett, Elinor, and River Kuhn.

Margaret was a born-again believer in Jesus. She has gone to be with our Creator and we will see her soon. Please know that Jesus was there to welcome her with open arms.
