Obituary for Maria Rodriguez
It is with profound sorrow and deep love that we announce the passing of our beloved Maria Rodriguez, 74, who entered into eternal peace on March 10, 2025. Maria was born on October 1, 1950 in Matanzas, Cuba. Her journey brought her to Miami, Florida, where she arrived with her son, Luis, and later welcomed her second son, Jose, in Orlando, Florida. Together, they formed a family bound by love, faith, and a shared commitment to one another.
Maria was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind her two cherished sons, Luis and Jose, their loving wives, Kristen and Elizabeth, and her adored grandchildren, Alexis, Julia, Michael, Nathaniel, Aubrey, and Isabel, and her sisters Iraida, Ysora, Elisa, and Nelida. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Ysidoro and Juana and her brother Juanito. Maria’s family was the center of her world, and she found boundless joy in watching her children grow and her grandchildren flourish. Her legacy lives on in each of them, as they carry forward her values of kindness, faith, and resilience.
Maria was a deeply religious woman, finding comfort and strength in her faith, and sharing that warmth with all who knew her. She had an unshakable belief that love and faith could overcome any challenge. Maria’s heart was full of generosity, and she always found ways to make those around her feel seen, loved, and cared for.
As we say goodbye to Maria, we take solace in knowing that her love, faith, and spirit will continue to guide us. She has left an indelible mark on all our hearts, and her memory will live on in the stories we share, the prayers we say, and the love we continue to give to one another.
