Obituary for Marie Nelson
Marie E. Nelson was born in Minnesota, lived in Iowa, Missouri and Florida. Marie was passionate about being an educator, having two master’s degrees in the English field. She held several positions in teaching and school administration. Marie moved to Sanford Florida in 1989. She enjoyed dancing at The Barn and going thrift store shopping. Marie had a great talent for needle arts. She was good at sewing, knitting and crocheting, but her true gift was weaving.
Marie had two children, Bret Grimmius, currently residing in Orlando FL and Jill Meesey in Sacramento CA. She has three grandchildren in CA. Marie was also very close with her niece, Kelly Miller in Sanford FL.
