Obituary for Mario Tovar
Mario G. Tovar, 57 years old, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019, in Oviedo. He was born September 12, 1961 in El Paso, Texas to Josefina Tovar and Gilberto Soto. Mario serve in the U.S. Navy for 22 years from 1982 to 2004.
He is survived by his children Mario G. Tovar II and Alma M. Tovar; his former spouse Jacqueline Valbuena, his step-mother, Anita Soto, his brothers, Juan Manuel Ortiz and Eddie Goodman, his sister Cara “Terry” Bryant, his nieces Florinda Bryant, Amelia Bryant-Tukes, T’Liza Kiel, and many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Sandra Goodman.

Mass 11:00 a.m., followed by reception.
Interment with full Military Honors at 2:00 p.m., at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 U.S. Highway 1, Mims, FL 32754.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mario’s honor to St. Stephen’s Outreach program, Wounded Warrior Project, or any organization serving the military are appreciated.
