Obituary for Michael C. Hardy
Michael Cavan Hardy
October 5, 1951 – December 14, 2019

With great sadness we mourn the passing of our beloved Michael Hardy, 68, who passed peacefully into the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on December 14, 2019 at Florida Hospital Altamonte, surrounded by loving family. Michael was the cherished husband of Adrienne Settimi Hardy, and a proud and loving father to Shannon, Michael, and Carrie. He was a treasured stepfather, counselor and friend to Priscilla, Timothy and Madeleine Glascock, who were deeply thankful for his presence in their lives.
Born October 5, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Michael live in Arizona and California before moving to Florida in 1995. Michael was blessed with three wonderful children from his first marriage. He and Adrienne married in 2000, joined by their deep love for each other and for God. (Ecclesiastes 4:12b “A three stranded cord is not easily broken.”) Michael was a person who cared deeply about others, and who shared his warm spirit, good humor and open heart with all. In particular, Michael was devoted to his family. In addition to his three children, Michael deeply loved Adrienne and her children. He was delighted with the arrival of each of his grandchildren. Michael was an active member in his local church, and was steadfast in his faith. In addition to caring for his family and friends, Michael was a trusted and hardworking expert tradesmen in construction as a superintendent, known for his honesty, skill and commitment to quality. He was a natural and kind leader, and helped to encourage countless individuals who crossed his path.
We are so much the better for having known and loved Michael Hardy, and will forever treasure his spirit and memory. We will never forget how well he loved us and the Lord.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents William and Lenore Hardy; and brother Thomas Hardy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Adrienne (Settimi); daughters Shannon, Carrie and son Michael; sister: Terri Barrish ; grandchildren Jeffery Hardy, Justin Hardy, and Nyah Veals; step children Priscilla Glascock and son Spencer; Timothy Glascock; Madeleine Glascock; and many loving extended family and friends.
For those who wish to honor his memory, donations to Open Homes Fellowship Regeneration Program, 1831 Central Park Ave. Orlando, Fl 32807 would be a deeply fitting tribute to Michael .
“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11: 29-30
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks for the compassionate care provided by the doctors, nurses and staff at Florida Hospital Altamonte ICU. You are truly angels of mercy.

Shortly after service there will be an open house at Michael and Adrienne's Home
