This is the story of Michael (Mikey) Douglas Two Hawks Jenkins Held (NIIZHIWAG GREKEK).
Michael was born on February 6th, 1999 in Orlando, Florida – sadly, he passed away on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 at the age of 20.
Mikey is survived by his parents, Shain Richard Held, Mary Ann Jenkins and his stepmother Bonnie Marie Miramonti. He leaves behind 3 siblings – Kimberly Jenkins, Jeffrey York and Matthew Jarrett. He also leaves behind his maternal grandfather Samuel Jenkins (Papa), paternal grandfather Thomas Held (Pop), his nephews Silas, Samuel, Karter, Ryder, Jesse and Sawyer, nieces Sariyah, Sage, Paisley, Makayla and Eva, Aunts Donelle, Tina, and Samantha, Tammy,Amy and Uncles Sam, Shawn, Tommy, Scott, and Kelly. His cousins Santana, Courtney, Dana, Scott, Brandon, Lynette, Samantha, Brenda, Jesse, Tia, Claire, Ethan, Magnolia, Mia, and Evie, AJ, Samantha, Skylar.
Mike is preceded in death by his grandmother Sharon Held and cousin Shawna Held, and Aunt Tina Christian.
Mikey enjoyed family gatherings, and often spent much of his time horsing around with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed a good conversation with anyone and everyone, and above all else, Mike loved to laugh.
Michael was an avid racer, having started at the age of 8, winning 2 championships, and racing various classes of cars in the competitive racing series. Michael’s love for iRacing was typically his outlet against depression. There’s nothing in this world that Michael loved more than racing, except talking about racing.
Michael lit up every room he walked into. His energy was endless and he loved having fun with his friends. His energetic personality left an unforgettable impact on everyone he met.
Mike will continue to stay with us all through memories, and the laughs he forced us all to endure whether we were in the mood for it or not.
To all who knew Michael – Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at 3:30pm at The First Baptist Church of Taft located at 9284 2nd Ave., Orlando, FL 32824 followed by the Services beginning at 5pm.
