Michael Jeremiah Chiarantona, 35, of Winter Springs, FL died Wednesday, January
13, 2021 due to the results of a automobile accident.
Mr. Chiarantona was born March 9, 1985 Fort McClellan Army Base in Anniston, AL
Mr. Chiarantona spent his childhood growing up in Auburn, ME before moving to
Sebastian, FL where he attended Sebastian River High School.
Mr. Chiarantona first love was his 3 boys, followed by his love for fishing and the
outdoors where he worked as a 1st mate on a fishing boat in the Florida Keys before
moving with his family to Winter Springs, FL to persue his new found interest in the
culinary arts. He was a member of Saint Stephens Catholic Community Church in
Winter Springs.
Survivors include his mother Karen Chiarantona and three sons Michael, Vincent and
Anthony Chiarantona of Winter Springs, FL; brother Vincent Chiarantona of Winter
Springs, FL; sister Kelly and Blake Bassett along with nephew & niece Owen and
Olivia Bassett of Oviedo, FL; Grandmother Vera Kelleher of Floral Park, NY; and
best friends Ruben and Sonia Rivero Jordan of Lake Mary, FL.
He was preceded in death by his father Michael Chiarantona; Pop & Nan, Vincent and
Josephine Chiarantona; and grandfather Jeremiah Kelleher; followed by his god dog
Chloe Chiarantona(1/16/21).
Services: A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00am, Friday, February 5, 2021 at Saint
Stephens Community in Winter Springs, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Stephens Journey Group at the
Saint Stephens Community Church in Winter Springs, FL.
