Obituary for Nicholas Richard Fleming
Nicholas Richard Fleming, 38, was born in Cleveland Ohio on Aug 24,1982 to Richard (Dick) deceased in 2018, and Gail Fleming. Nick passed away, in North Carolina, where he went often and loved the outdoors and all it had to offer unexpectedly, on July 20, 2021 from complications of Diabetes, which he has battled for many years.
His family moved to Winter Park, FL in l984 from a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio and soon after established a family business in
Winter Park: FLEMING BROTHERS ROOFING which Nick was a part of as soon as he was old enough to walk and get up on a roof with His Dad!

He went to Sts Peter and Paul pre-`school ,St.Margaret Mary Elementary School, Bishop Moore High School all in Winter Park and had a football scholarship to BenedictineCollege in Kansas City, Missouri where his Dad couldn’t stay away and was there almost every weekend watching Him play.
An article was even printed in the school newspaper about this Dad who seemed to always be somewhere on campus and the Monks finally gave him a room in the Monastery so He wouldn’t have to stay too far away:-))

Nick is survived, by His Mother Gail Fleming (Walton) and Grandmother Betty Walton, of Winter Springs, FL.
His big Brother Michael (wife Melissa), whom He loved and depended on for so many things, especially after their Dad died!
His Sister Chris, who was like a second Mother to Him ,called Him “buddy”and was forever chasing Him around when small
trying to keep His nails trimmed to Her standards:-)), His Sister Angie who remained in Cleveland but was always with us in FL for extended periods, and later having her own Travel Agency in Cleveland, helped him with free passes, so he could go back and forth to North Carolina more often.
His Sister Sara and Nick were closest in age and argued the most, especially when she had to watch him while we were gone. He took advantage of her and now they are very close and He talks to her often and is His main confident.

Nick was an Uncle to 6 boys of his siblings (Tanner, Jake, Evan, Eli and Wyatt) and an Uncle to 3 girls (Mallory, Sidney and Riley) .
His beloved Aunts, Colleen Deighan (Walton) and 2 cousins (Jamie and Becky), and Elaine Walton Horsley, who is also His Godmother (husband Don and Cousin Matthew)
Other cousins to include , Nicole, Amanda, Juliet, and Thomas (TJ)
His Godfather , Doug Regrut from Cleveland, OH who came quite often to watch play football at Bishop Moore
He was also a proud Godfather to Zamir and Zavion , Boys of His Brother (by choice), Justin, who was His Rock in Good and bad times!
