Obituary for Paul L. Banfield
Paul Lloyd Banfield born June 18, 1928 in Neffs, Ohio went home to heaven May 9, 2022.
He was married to his sweetheart, Ruth, for 64 years. Together they raised their four children, Jan, Jo, Greg, and Gary.
Paul was a graduate of Ohio University and Rollins College.
He lived his dream job for 20 years as a pilot in the Air Force. After retirement from the Air Force Paul taught history and later was a guidance counsellor at Evans High School in Pine Hills, Florida.
He loved his family, his church, and travel. As a very active member of Community United Methodist Church in Cassleberry he enjoyed his Sunday School class and all of the acitvities that they did in outreach and in fun. Paul was a man who loved God and loved people.
In his later years, Paul met Annette and they became good companions.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Betty Banfield, his many siblings, and his beloved wife.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Jan and Rick Levy, Jo and Miguel Marczuk, Greg and Lisa Banfield, and Gary and Shellie Banfield.
Paul was the proud Papa of Kerri, Kelli, Stacey, Matt, Brett, Blaire, Aaron, Korey and Kristen.
He had 6 great grandchildren, Ansley, Parker, Rebekah, Noah, Quinn, and Harper.
