Jim Streeter, 53, of Oviedo, FL. (formerly Dracut, MA) was called home to God on September 6th, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Tara (Hill) Streeter, with whom he was married for 22 years. Jim was born to Philip and Phyllis Streeter of Kingston, NH on August 3rd, 1966. He graduated from Sanborn Regional High School in 1984, attended Daniel Webster College and then Flight School. Jim’s childhood memories include his summers in Vermont and enjoying the Mitchell’s Farm with best friends in Kingston, NH. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing and camping with friends and family. His most cherished moments were spending time with his wife and children, coaching their sports teams and cheering them on at their games and dance competitions. Quality family time was his priority. Game and movie nights, Disney World, Cruising and touring Italy will always hold the best memories. Jim was a skilled craftsman, a great cook, excelled in trivia on all subjects and made the best martinis. Finally, he wore these hats so proudly, FSU Dad & USNA Dad!
