Obituary for Raymond Charles Boyce
Raymond (Mickie) C. Boyce, 81, of Winter Springs, passed away on April 12, 2022 after a valiant battle with cancer. Mickie was born on November 10, 1940 to William Boyce and Margaret Stininger in Boston Massachusetts.
In 1978 he met Barbara, and they wed in 1981, going on to have one child together. The two of them joined their families together for a total of four children, Dawna, Karen, Jodi and Meghan. After retiring Mickie spent his time working at Publix in Winter Springs and at Astro Skating Center where he loved to be. Roller skating held a special place in his heart and he dedicated many years to the sport as a skater and an announcer.
Mickie was predeceased by his parents, his brothers William Boyce Jr, Paul Boyce, Harvey Boyce and James Boyce. He is survived by brothers Thomas Boyce, George Boyce; Sister Carol (Boyce) Mackey; Wife Barbara Boyce; Daughters Dawna Boyce, Karen Buree, Jodi (Boyce) Magee and Meghan (Boyce) Murphy; Grandchildren David Pierce, Jon Pelletier, Monique Boyce, Foster Buree, Javin Magee, Rayah Magee, Victoria Murphy and Aurora Murphy; and great-grandchildren.
