Obituary for Richard Joseph Fleming
Richard (Dick) Fleming, 67 passed away at his home Nov 5, 2018.
Dick was born Feb 21, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Richard and Shirley Fleming. He moved his family to Winter Park in 1984. For over 45 years, he was a prominent roofing contractor and the founder of Fleming Brothers Roofing. He was a member of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and the Winter Park Rotary Club. You could frequently find him relaxing with his favorite cup of coffee and smoking his beloved cigars. Dick also loved to ride his motorcycle. Known to many as SugarBear, Dick was a well known and respected member of the WMC, Seminole County Chapter. Dick also was well known and respected in the boxing community, loved the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.
He was a loving father, grandfather, new great grandfather, and friend. Dick will greatly be missed by so many. He is predeceased by his bothers, Thomas Fleming, David Fleming, and Joseph Fleming.
Dick is survived by his sons Michael Fleming (Melissa), Nicholas Fleming, daughters Angie McClure (Gary) Christine Roberts (Matthew), Sara Nieves(Eric), his grandchildren, Mallory, Evan, Eli, Wyatt, Tanner, Jake, Sidney, Riley and a great grandson Brayden.
Calling hours are from 10am-12pm with funeral to immediately to follow. Burial will be at All Faiths Memorial Cemetery in Casselberry, FL with a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, we would like to ask that donations be made to Toys for Tots in Dick's memory.
