Obituary for Richard Thomas Violette, Sr.
Our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather Richard Violette Sr. has passed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on Wednesday March 15, 2023.
Richard (Dick) was an Air National Guard Veteran. He was married to the Love of his life, Ann who passed away in 2016. They were married September 7, 1963 at St Dominic’s Church in Portland, Maine. At the time of his passing they would have been married 59 years.
After retirement, he was everyone’s handyman. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix and he always made himself available to lend a helping hand. He cared deeply for others’ and it showed. He leaves behind two sons, four grandchildren and one great grandson, a brother who resides in Maine and many dear friends. Our hearts are broken and at the same time full of gratitude to have had him in our lives. He was and continues to be a shining example of strength, perseverance, and most of all unending love for his family.
A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday March 29th, 2pm at CrossLife Church 45 W. Broadway St. Oviedo, FL 32765.
