Robert “Bobby” Durnan, 33, passed away on August 12, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Bobby was born in Walnut Creek, California, and moved to Orlando, Florida, at a young age. Though he traveled and lived back and forth between California and Florida, he was a true Florida man at heart.
He had a love for sales and worked in the field for many years, approaching every opportunity with creativity, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit. He was also a gifted fisherman, a talented guitarist, a passionate cook, and a dedicated Pokémon collector. Bobby’s kindness, humor, and light touched everyone who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire those whose lives he brightened.
Bobby was a beloved husband to Marissa Durnan, with whom he shared eight wonderful years filled with love, adventure, and laughter. Together they built a life rich with memories of traveling, dancing, and caring for their pets Bear, Moose, and Marshall, who brought them endless joy. He is also survived by his sister, Chrystal Durnan, his mother, Yvonne Durnan, and is reunited in spirit with his late father, Bob Durnan. He also leaves behind his wife’s family, and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Bobby lived life to the fullest and embraced every new experience with open arms. He was deeply loved by all who knew him and will be profoundly missed. His memory will remain a cherished treasure forever.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his wife, Marissa Durnan, at the link below:
