Roberta Jane Lucia Marziotto, 69
On January 9th, 2026, our beloved mother was peacefully called home to Heaven, where her
pain and suffering came to an end. In a moment of divine timing, her passing fell on her own
mother’s birthday-a reminder that the Lord knew it was time for them to be reunited, along with
her sisters, in eternal peace.
Born in Far Rockaway, New York, devoted her life to family, faith, and hard work.
She courageously fought a long and difficult battle with cancer, one that many never knew she
was facing. True to her nature, she carried herself with strength, grace, and quiet resilience,
never allowing her struggles to overshadow her love for others. She remained hardworking and
dedicated right up until her final days, a testament to the remarkable strength that defined her
life.
She was selfless, kind, funny, loyal, tough, and deeply hardworking—but above all, she was
peace. She brought comfort and joy not only to her family, but to everyone blessed to know her.
The life of the party, she loved laughter, togetherness, and making sure those around her were
happy.
In her final days, she was surrounded by overwhelming love from family, friends, and
compassionate hospital staff. There were tears, laughter, and cherished moments of connection.
Her greatest wish was simple: peace with everyone, and for her loved ones to be happy,
together, and enjoying life—along with, of course, a slice of pizza.
She was an extraordinary wife, a deeply loving and fiercely supportive mother, a strong and
dependable sister, and a loyal, compassionate friend. She touched more lives than she ever
realized, and the outpouring of love from the community stands as a beautiful reflection of the
impact she made.
She lived her faith daily, teaching strength, kindness, perseverance, and trust in God and the
Blessed Mother—especially during life’s hardest seasons.
Now, she soars free, watching over all who carry her memory in their hearts. Her love, strength,
and spirit will continue to guide us every step of the way.
She is survived by her husband Gary, her daughter Gina, her son Nicholas, her granddaughter
Giana, and her brother Nicholas.
Rest easy, Bert.
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
