Obituary for Roscoe Bowen
Roscoe Bowen 79, of Sanford, FL., passed away on Wednesday, January 24,2024 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
A memorial service will be held February 3,2024 at Banfield Funeral Home at 420 W State Road 434 Winter Springs, FL. 32708. Viewing will be from 1:00PM to 3:00PM immediately followed by Full Military Service.
His family includes his wife JoAnn Bowen of 60 1/2 yrs., son Christopher A. Bowen, daughter Sharon (Bowen) Renner and husband Spencer Renner, daughter Lisa M. Bowen.
He had 5 grandchildren Jonathan R. Bowen, Brittney L. Taylor, David J Gallagher, Annie Mae Bowen, and Christina Bowen.
He 6 great grandchildren Breanna Taylor, Abie Bowen, Jospeh Leonard, Nevaeh Taylor, Kylah Parren, and Eliza Parren.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Bowen and Annie Mae (Holland) Bowen, survived by brother John Bowen and sister Shirley (Bowen) Bruce.
He has many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Roscoe Bowen was born in Sanford, FL. on January 26, 1944, He graduated from Seminole High School, Southern California College with his BA., Air Force-Vietnam following discharge he worked for the Sanford Post Office retired after 37 yrs. of being a letter carrier. Roscoe was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
