On Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 12:55 pm, Russell Harold Hetzler, passed away at the age of 75. He passed at home with his loved ones as he wished. He lived life on his terms and did things the way he wanted, despite the outcome.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, after graduating from Fairmont West High School he dabbled as an Electrician, Salesman and then decided to go into the family business and become a Detective. He also, worked as a Photographer and Commodities Broker. Always ever changing and trying to find life adventures.
He was a beloved father and survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Melissa M. Davis & husband Gary J. Davis, Jr. and Michelle L. Wilson & husband David M. Wilson. Grandfather To: Bradley I. Ely, Angel C. Love, Amber R. Love, Kourtnie E. Glater, Katelynd A. Glater, Alexandria N.M. Beverly and Benjamin F. Glater. Great-Grandfather To: Brandon, Cierra, Darienne, Seth, Zachariah, Niko, Parker, Chase, Lucian, Preston, Grayson, Colin, Bradyn, Zayne and Declan. Also survived by sister Darlene J. Snyder & brother-in-law James Snyder and niece Kristine L. Nicholson.
His motto was always: “God Loves You and I So Do I!”
