Obituary for Sadie Leona York
Sadie Leona York, 83 of Oviedo, Florida, originally from Benton Kentucky, passed to her heavenly home November 13, 2024. She was born January 13, 1941 in Gilbertsville Kentucky to Euel and Dortha (Vickers) Donohoo. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter and friend.
She is survived by her children Gayle Cooper (Tim), Dale York (Barbara), Diane York, Doug York (Misty), two grandchildren Jason Gentry and Krista Catron (Michael), three beautiful great grandchildren and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her best friend & husband of 37 years Jimmie D. York; her parents and one sister.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery in Calvert City Kentucky.
