Obituary for Savitri Samlal
Savitri “Nadia” Samlal, age 41 born in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago and resides in Sanford, FL, passed away on Wednesday June 5th, 2024. Daughter to Bhagwanden Samlal and Margaret Ramesar. Sister to Neil Bissoondauth Samlal.
Mother to Reianna, Randy, Jaden, Julius & Josiah. Grandma to Leianna, King, Mia and Kyro. Grand daughter to Olive & the Late Ramjit Ramesar and Ajee and Aaja.
Nadia moved to America in 1987 at the tender age of 5. Later she moved to Sanford, FL in 1989.
She was a cherished daughter, mother and grandmother. Everyone who had the honor of knowing her knew she was the life of the party. She was all about having a good time and making sure that everyone was included! Her presence meant the world to many. Nadia will be remembered by all her cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and extended family as a fun, outgoing and loving person who was always a good time.
Nadia had a love for outdoor activities, spending time with her kids, cooking and of course squeezing a little party time in! She loved listening to music and dancing at any and every event! No matter what occasion it was, you could never be surprised to find Nadia on the dance floor.
Nadia’s life will be celebrated at her home following the service. Flowers may be sent to her residence or funeral home in her honor.
May her fun spirit, kind heart, loving touch and cherished memories live on through all who knew her.
