Obituary for Severino M. DiDomenico
Severino (Sam) DiDomenico passed on October 19, 2020 at the age of 99. Son, father, grandfather and great grandfather all under one wrapper. Born in Buffalo, New York Sam was predeceased by his father Ersilio, his mother Mary and his two sisters Josephine and Laura. He leaves behind Mary his wife of 76 years, 3 sons Michael, Patrick (Kathy McKenna), Daniel (Susan Schneeberger), 4 grandchildren Patrick II, Kelly, Dan Jr. and Jennifer and 8 great-grandchildren. Sam is a veteran of World War II and trained and flew as an Army Aviator. In his early years Sam was an avid outdoorsman both hunting and fishing. As he got older and his family grew he turned to bowling and golf, playing golf on a daily basis till 96 years old. He loved his family and his grandchildren and great grandchildren brought much joy to him. He was the foundation of the family and his wisdom, wit and frankness will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer a donation be made to the American Heart Association in his name.
