It is with great sadness that the family of Sherry Sue Wagaman, a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Grand-dog Mother, Great-Grand Mother and Friend, announce her passing on the morning of September 4,2024 at the age of 81.
Sue is survived by her three children Gayle Ray Wagaman II, Sherri Rene McPherson, and Patrick Westley Wagaman.
She was born in Norborne, MO in 1942 to Harold Westley and Dorothy Katherine Newham. In the fall of 1962, she married Gayle Ray Wagaman of Bogard, MO and together they traveled the world through his service in the United States Navy. Eventually setting up home base in Atlamonte Springs, FL where they raised and loved their three children, established many strong friendships, and resided for the remainder of both their lives.
Sue was a life-long bookkeeper with a fastidious eye for financial details, having worked in various industries throughout her career. She enjoyed crafting hobbies such as sewing and hand-stitched quilting. She and Gayle were steadfast Florida State University fans (Go Noles!) and she still enjoyed watching her beloved Seminoles every football season.
At her request there will be no services, but she asked that all who knew her cherish closely the memories of laughter and love that she shared with so many.
