Obituary for Susan A. Dike
Susan “Sue” (Gross) Dike, age 72, of Winter Springs, FL passed away on August 15, 2024. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Roland “Ron” Dike Jr.
She was the daughter of the late Donald Gross and Elizabeth (Plummer) Poston. She is survived by her daughter Katrina (Detter) Noland of Winter Springs, FL, her son Brian Detter and daughter-in-law Rose Lynn Detter of Geneva, FL, her grandsons Jacob and Adam Detter of Deltona, FL, her granddaughters Dakota Noland of Winter Springs, FL and McKenna Moore of Geneva, FL.
Sue was born in Portsmouth, NH, then lived in Central Florida where she graduated from Bishop Moore High School in 1969 and University of Central Florida in 1982. She was employed as a Media Specialist at Seminole County Public Schools (Oviedo and Seminole High Schools) for 30 years before her retirement in 2012.
Interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 239 Kuzmany Dr., Winter Park, FL on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 at 9am. A celebration of life will follow at Sue and Ron’s home 215 Mockingbird Lane, Winter Springs, FL from noon to 6pm.
