Obituary for Susan Justine Stevens-Young-Bemos
Susan J. Stevens- Young-Bemos "Susie," 69, went to be with her Lord and Savior, 12/09/2016. Born in Grove City, PA on February 13, 1947. She was the daughter of, Edward B. Stevens and Mary E. Hindman Stevens, Tarpon Springs, FL.

Susan leaves her husband, Ralph W. Bemos, Winter Springs, FL, brother, Jonathan E. Stevens, Tarpon Springs, FL and mother-in-law, Thelma Bemos, Port Richey, FL, son, Marvin W. Young, Spring City, TN, Heather Burgess and husband David, Wasilla, AK; son MitchelI R. Bemos and wife Aurora Silva, Amsterdam, Netherlands and grandsons Randall W. and Wendall B. Young, Paden and Spencer Burgess, and Leonor Bemos and two great-grandchildren Ashton and Aubree Young.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Edward B. and Mary E. Hindman Stevens and her sister, Ann J. Stevens-Hair.

As a small child, Susan, moved to Tarpon Springs, FL in 1953. She was an alumni from the class of 1965, go Spongers! She loved Tarpon Springs and her classmates. As a senior in high school, she won a scholarship to a Clearwater cosmetology school. In her early twenties, Susan had a Mercury Outboard Business in Arkansas and later moved to Central Florida. While taking dance lessons, she met the love of her life, Ralph.

In the years that followed, Susan worked as a diet clerk at Central Florida Hospital and then furthering her education, she attended soldering school, to become an Electrical Mechanical Technician, obtaining employment with Martin Marietta Aerospace (Lockheed Martin), Orlando, FL and later at Litton Laser, in Apopka, FL.

Susan was a member of the Elks Club, # 1 079, Orlando, FL. She enjoyed her family, friends, gardening, fishing, dancing with her husband, her grandchildren, her cats, and tailgating with her UCF tailgate friends. Go Knights! She studied the bible through Shepard's Chapel, helping people to know the REAL TRUTH of GOD's WORD.

In Lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Hospice of the Comforter, "Rescue by Judy," Sanford, FL, EARS-Endangered Animals Rescue Sanctuary, Ocala, FI, or any animal shelter.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 15, 2016, at 2:00 PM at St. Stephen Catholic Church located at 575 Tuskawilla Road Winter Springs, FL with Father John J. Bluett as Celebrant.
