Mrs. Theresa A. (Pollard) Warehime, 55, of Winter Springs, beloved wife of Richard W. Warehime, died peacefully, Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at their family home in Winter Springs, FL.
Born in Honolulu, HI, Theresa was the daughter of the late Delbert and Patricia (Polliard) Pollard. She was raised and educated in Delaware, OH, and was a graduate of Delaware Hayes High School.
Since 2000, Mr. and Mrs. Warehime have resided in Winter Springs, FL.
Known for her altruistic values, Theresa expressed her selfless commitment to raising her children. Her passion for nature and animals was illustrated by her nurturing of her beloved dogs. Following her career as an Administrative Assistant, she retired to devote her time to various crafting, creative outlets, and most notably to be a full-time Granny to her grandkids. Her clever aphorisms and witty mannerisms will be thoroughly missed by her family. As a sentimental being, one of her favorite pastimes was collecting odd relics that symbolize memories shared with family and friends. She was an avid creator of home decor and had a vigorous pursuit in collecting antique pieces. With a profound interest in history and family lineage, she spent copious amounts of time researching Early and Late Modern Period artifacts. Dedicated to her family, she will be deeply missed.
Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 33-years, Richard W. Warehime of Winter Springs; her daughters Alissa (Warehime) Honka of Oviedo, FL and Patricia (Warehime) Lamb of Winter Springs; her son Alexander J. Warehime of Boston, MA; her grandchildren, [Rachel, Elizabeth, Adalyn, and Lucas Honka], Hayden, and Aubree Lamb.
An intimate gathering of close loved ones will be held in Winter Springs, FL. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathies may be made in Theresa’s remembrance by ensuring a better life for animals through an ASPCA donation.
