Obituary for Thomas F. O'Connor
It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas F. O'Connor announce his passing, 76 of Orange City, FL on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, Florida after fighting illness for the past year. He was born November 7, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN. He was the son of the late Thomas Francis O'Connor and the late Joanne M. O'Connor. He was retired and had worked as a Fleet Truck Salesperson. He was a proud Marine Corp. veteran his entire life.
Mr. O'Connor has left behind his loving wife of 57 years: Freda (Ashby) O'Connor, five children: Terri Seefeldt (Roger Johnson), Tom O'Connor (Jane O'Connor), Tracy Hutton(Victor Scott Hutton), Tammy Dzikowski (Jeff Dzikowski) and Tony O'Connor . Tom also had 10 grandchildren he loved deeply: Zachary Seefeldt, Sam O'Connor, Kelsie Wright, Kendall Wright, Victor Jeremy Hutton (Michelle Hutton), Hannah Hutton, Lauren Dzikowski, Chandler Dzikowski, Connor Clevenger and Cole O'Connor. Also survived by son-in-law, Mike Seefeldt. He was preceded in death by his Daughter: Stephanie O'Connor and brother Lawrence Micheal O'Connor.
Tom never met a stranger and lived his life for his family. Through his unconditional love, he has left his family with memories for a lifetime. He provided us with the foundation to know that the only thing in life that matters is being together and taking care of each other.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Father John J. Bluett as Celebrant 575 Tuskawilla Road Winter Springs, Florida) . Inurnment will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
