Obituary for Thomas J. Colley
Thomas Joseph Colley of Winter Springs, FL, departed this world on Sept 30, 2024 after a valiant battle with cancer. Tom is survived by his caring, beloved wife of 27 years, Sherrod Frasier Colley.
Thomas was born March 11, 1961 to Terrence and Margaret Colley, who have proceeded him in death.
Tom is also survived by his siblings: Kit (Jim) Kluener, Terry (Charlotte) Colley, Ann (Bill) Jett, Tim (Lynn) Colley, Bridget (Mike) Nieman and many remarkable and treasured nieces and nephews as well as grandnieces and grandnephews who will miss him dearly.
Tom was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. After graduation from Thomas More College in Northern Kentucky, Tom worked at IBAX corporation where he met Sherrod in 1994. Tom relocated to Sherrod’s home state of Florida, eventually settling in Winter Springs and marrying Sherrod in 1997.
Tom retired in 2023, after working most recently as a nurse for 10 years at AdventHealth Hospital in Orlando, FL.
A Service will be held Oct 19th, 11:00am at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, 3348 W State Road 426, Oviedo FL. There will be a gathering following the service in the Kimsey Hall parish hall.
A Memorial Mass will be held in Cincinnati, OH on Nov 2 at 10:00am at St Lawrence Church 3680 Warsaw Ave. A Celebration of Life will take place immediately following the mass at the parish center.
