Obituary for Thomas Roger Seal, Jr.
Thomas Roger Seal, Jr., 67, of Winter Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 17th after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, ‘Tommy’ moved to Long Island, New York as a child where he met his loving wife of 46 years, Donna (nee Salatto). Together, they had two children, Amy (husband – Ted Fox) and Patrick (wife - Amber Bertholf). Tom and Donna moved to Winter Springs, Florida in 1989. He had two grandchildren (Abbie and Maddie) who he adored more than life.
Tom, predeceased by his parents, Thomas Roger, Sr and Joan Seal and father-in-law Arthur Salatto, was born on Sep 4, 1954 and had 3 siblings, Joanne (husband - Paul Krebs), Debbie (predeceased by husband Michael Dwyer), and Paul. He was loved by his mother-in law, Theresa Salatto, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and 10 nieces and nephews (Godson Matthew, Paul, Gerard, Adam, Kara, Michael, Marc, Alex, Keenan and Lucille) who were always in his heart.
To Tommy, family was everything – he was the kind and witty brother, father, uncle, ‘Poppy’, and friend and always ready with the next one-liner. He was a giver – Amazon Prime was his best friend and nothing made him happier than to see the smiles on the faces of those who received. Christmas will never be the same.
There will be a celebration of his life for family and friends on his birthday, where stories will be exchanged and happier times will be remembered, just as he would want.
In lieu of flowers or donations, tell a joke, pull a prank and laugh in memory of Tom … He will be smiling from above.
