Obituary for Virginia Lee Belcher
Virginia Belcher, a beloved sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on the 8th of October 2019 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Belcher, and son Barry Belcher.
Mrs. Belcher was born on 16th January, 1932 in East Lynn, West Virginia to Wetzel and Maxine Ball. She married Elmer Belcher the 28th December, 1947.
Virginia is survived by five sisters, one brother, son Gary Belcher, seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Virginia was a loving person who never met a stranger. She was known for the throw quilts she made by hand even after her eyesight failed her. Virginia’s favorite thing, other than sewing, was spending time with her large family and attending her church. She will be greatly missed.
