Obituary for Virginia Lee Bracco

Virginia Lee Bracco, born on February 16, 1959, in Newark, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She was the cherished daughter of Vincent James Dalbo Sr. And Patricia Lee Dalbo. Virginia is survived by her beloved children, Frank Charles Bracco and Christina Lee Jameson; her granddaughter, Chloe Lee Jameson; son-in-law, Christopher William Jameson; her brother, Vincent James Dalbo Jr.; and her ex-husband, Louis Bracco. Although Ginny and Louis were divorced, they remained friends until the end.

For the past two years, Virginia bravely fought a battle with endometrial cancer, demonstrating incredible strength and resilience. She faced her illness like a true warrior, inspiring those around her with her determination and grace.

A devoted mother, Ginny found joy in supporting her children, Frank and Christina, through various extracurricular activities, including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, colorguard, FSU Marching Chiefs, soccer, track and field, and cross country. She adored her granddaughter, Chloe, and her grandpuppies, Rico and Woodson.

Virginia graduated from Montclair State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. The family later relocated to Central Florida, where she raised her children with love and dedication. In 2024, Virginia celebrated her retirement, fulfilling a long-held dream with a bucket-list trip to Italy with her children in March. Her adventurous spirit also took her to Dubai, London, and Paris in 2020. Virginia’s favorite color was blue, a reflection of her vibrant and loving personality.

With a strong work ethic, Virginia dedicated 25 years to the education system, including many years at the Seminole County Public Schools District Office as a Budget Analyst. Her kindness knew no bounds; she was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.

Virginia's warmth and unwavering support will be deeply missed. Everyone who knew Ginny would say she had the sweetest soul. We are blessed to have had the time we did with her. A traditional Catholic Mass will be held on November 15, 2024, at 12PM at San Pedro Chapel, followed by internment and a blessing of the ashes at Queen of Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to AdventHealth Hospice in Altamonte Springs, FL, in honor of Virginia's memory. The address is 605 Montgomery Rd, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. Phone: 407-622-6039
