William’s love for history was apparent through his endless research on historical military figures as well as his own family genealogy. He wrote a historical book about Port Arthur during the Japanese- Soviet War. William was a talented piano player who could play by ear and he loved to sing. He was known as a very outgoing, jovial man and anyone who met him was drawn to his friendly personality. His smile could light up a room! He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
William was a Catholic with a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. He had a genuine love for God, his family and country. We are inspired by your music and your life. We love you Oppey!
