Obituary for Yvonne Hannwacker

Yvonne M. Hannwacker of Winter Springs, FL went to her heavenly home on Monday, August 13th, 2018 after a six year battle with cancer.

Yvonne will be dearly missed and remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Andy Hannwacker, her son Michael Hannwacker (wife Marina), daughters Kate Shaffer (husband Wes), Debbie Hannwacker, Cindy Grey (husband Tom) and Claudia Tebbetts (husband Jim), nine grandchildren (Rebecca Carnes, Rachel Carnes, David & Ian Hannwacker, Brian & Megan Verner, Emily Howard, Sarah Grey, and Taylor Tebbetts), and 3 great grandchildren (Sophie & Caden Clohesy and Elias Howard, who all brought great joy to her life.

Yvonne was an active member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church where she also served as a Eucharistic Minister. She loved to donate her time and talents to the church and volunteered at the annual Flea Market, Spring Fest, as well as bread deliveries.

Yvonne loved her annual trips to the Blue Ridge Mountains. She was an avid antique collector and entrepreneur with businesses in Dublin, Ireland and Winter Park, FL.

Yvonne has touched so many lives and we will cherish all of the loving memories. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Services will be held at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church 575 Tuskawilla Rd, Winter Springs, FL on September 28th, 2018 at 11AM (joyful casual attire).

In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Kidney Cancer Association or St. Stephen Catholic Church in Winter Springs, FL.
