Obituary for Larena E. Saxer
Larena E Saxer went home to our Lord on July 22, 2020. Larena Saxer was born January 29, 1930 in Pittsfield, MA to William and Madeline Larabee. She grew up in Greenville, Maine on Moosehead Lake. Larena always had a joke to tell and made you feel like she really cared about you. She loved watching The Price is Right and Hallmark movies but she was best known for her love of the Boston Celtics!! We had a wonderful 90th birthday celebration for her in January. Family was everything to her.
Larena was preceded in life by her parents William and Madeline Larabee, her brothers Bud, Robert, Clayton and Merle Larabee and her precious daughter Katherine Rivers (5/2020) and granddaughter Shelly Ann Stirman (1/2014). Survivors are children Clayton Saxer, Edward Saxer (Ellen) and Theresa Stirman (Daniel), grandchildren Christopher Saxer, Kim Rehl, Richard Gale, Robbie Gale, Brian Gale, Erica Korum, Edward Saxer and Lizzy Saxer, and great grandchildren Serria Rehl, Zane Saxer, Liz Gale, Andy Gale, Brandon Gale, Jayden Gale, Shawna Macaluso and Courtney and Brinley Korum and great great grandchildren Emmett and Kingsley. She also had several nieces and nephews . She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
