Obituary for Larry Dewayne Stephen
Larry Dewayne Stephen, 67 died on Wednesday, February 16th, 2021 at Advent Health Orlando, where he was treated for a heart attack. Larry Stephen was born August 19th, 1953 to the late Jefferson and Berniece (Dees) Stephen of Marmaduke, Arkansas. He was loving husband, father, and grandfather. Larry was an Assistant Pastor at Starlight Baptist Church in Orlando, Florida for 31 years. Larry directed the Bus and Children’s Ministries and ran the Church Office. He will be remembered by many for his sense of humor and his servants heart.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia (Greenway) Stephen, his two sons John Stephen and Joseph Stephen, two daughters Naomi Stouder and Sarah Nace, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Joyce Nolan and JoNell Kubiak. In additions to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Berneil Stephen, sister-in-law Verbel Stephen, brother Freddie Gene Stephen, and brother-in-law Darrell Nolen, who he loved like a brother. Along with a host of other relatives and friends who were like family. The Memorial Service for Larry will be on Saturday, February 27th, 2021 at 2:00pm. At Starlight Baptist Church in Winter Springs, Florida with Pastor Glenn Riggs and Bro. Sam Riggs officiating.
