Obituary for Rebecca A. Augustine
Rebecca Arlene Augustine, -“Darlin”, “Momma”, “Blue House Nana”, “Becky”
Rebecca, daughter of Earl and Dolores Rahrer, joined her Heavenly Father in the early morning of Wednesday February 21, 2021 with her family and the Love of her life, Kerry by her side.
Rebecca, was born March 26, 1953 and grew up in Lakeland Florida where she met Kerry, her soon to be husband during her senior year of high school. They married a year later and moved to Anchorage Alaska where they had their firstborn Ryan. After a few more moves they landed in Orlando where they would call home until the day she went to her heavenly home.
Rebecca played several musical instruments throughout her life, Piano being her favorite. She played in many recitals and taught others.
Throughout the years Rebecca and Kerry were blessed with 3 more amazing children through adoption- Brad, Deborah and Mark.
Her 4 children and her 7 grandchildren were her “heart”!
Her life was her faith and her family! If you know Rebecca you know the love she showed to EVERYONE she came in contact with. She was able to make everyone feel like the most important person in the world. Rebecca Arlene Augustine was so full of this selfless love because of her relationship with the Lord. She wanted more than anything to bring Christ’s love to those she came in contact with. And she did that to the very end.
We will honor Rebecca’s life and legacy by doing our best to live our lives with the same Christ-like love she showed each and every one of us every day of her life here on earth.
We love you and miss you!
