Obituary for Carol Jean Kuehl Peek
Carol (Jean), 81, of Winter Springs, Florida, passed on to heaven on November 18th, 2022. She was born to Annabell Huber Zahn and George Louis Kuehl on March 26, 1941 in Valparaiso, Indiana. She was loved by her siblings, Harold Kuehl, Nancy and husband, Harold Joy and Joann Kuehl.
Carol is survived by her children: Karla and husband, Randy Clark, Tonya Peek, Karl Jr (Buddy) Peek, Deana and husband, Terry Scott, and pre-deceased by her last born, Robert Joseph (Bobby Joe).
Her family grew over the years as she was blessed with 8 wonderful grandchildren: Corey and wife, Kelsey Peek, Ryan Clark, Cody Clark, Bianca Trick, Emilee and husband, Randy Mills, Brandy Peek, Kolby Scott and Karl Peek. She was also blessed with 3 great grandchildren: Nicolas, Nathaniel and Natalia Peek.
Carol loved taking care of others so much that there are many that have called her family through the years. She was a good friend and could often be found at community potlucks and game nights. She enjoyed reading, sudoku, collecting salt dishes and crafts… many, many crafts. Carol loved quilting, knitting, cross stitch and diamond painting. She loved travelling to visit friends and family. Carol will be missed by everyone she knew.
A Celebration of Carol Jean’s life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 4:00pm at Banfield Funeral Home, 420 West State Road 434, Winter Springs, Florida. Reception to follow. A final Resting Ceremony will be held in Valparaiso, Indiana in the Spring of 2023. (Details to follow.)
