Obituary for Onnette H. Muglach
Onnette Muglach passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 22, 2025. Above all, she loved her family fiercely and was the steady heart that held us together. Her kindness, grace, and ready smile made every gathering feel like home.
Born and raised in Oakman, Alabama, Onnette later moved to Florida after marrying the love of her life, Louis J. Muglach Jr. They shared 61 years of devoted marriage, and Florida is where she poured her heart into raising their three children and welcoming every new branch of the family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Muglach Jr.; her first grandchild, Richard Louis Muglach; her parents; and three of her five siblings.
She is survived by her children: Gary F. Muglach, Sr., Joel Muglach; Kim Gutierrez and her husband, Pete and former daughter-in-law, Patti Westerman.
Grandchildren she cherished with all her heart: Tina Muglach Blanton and husband Jeff; Gary Muglach and wife Jill; Meghan Gutierrez Chapple and husband Tyler; and Grayson Gutierrez and wife Dana.
Great-grandchildren, many of whom she proudly watched grow into adulthood: Kyle Blanton, Kevin Muglach and wife Gabi, Colin Blanton and wife Peyton, Cailyn Muglach, Courtney Muglach, Kaylee Muglach, Addy Chapple, Peter Gutierrez, and Simon Chapple.
She was blessed to meet two of her great-grandchildren, Colton and Kimber Blanton.
Onnette leaves behind a lifetime of love, countless warm memories, and many dear friends and family who will miss her gentle humor, her listening ear, and her loving support.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Banfield Funeral Home, 420 West State Road 434, Winter Springs, FL.
Burial services details will follow for internment in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.
