John L. Zino II, age 42 of Middleburg, Florida passed away Monday September 22. He was a beloved son, loyal brother, nephew, cousin and proud dad.
Born on December 22, 1982 in Dayton, Ohio John was the middle child and only son of John Zino and Ina Zino. John was raised in Orlando with two sisters around a big family. He attended Apopka High School and then moved to the Jacksonville area where his children were born. He bought his first house at 20, started his own business and accomplished so much in his short time here.
Those who knew John, best understood that he loved fiercely in his own way. His strength was what made him devoted, and unwilling to quit when life grew hard. Beneath it all was a heart that cared more deeply than words could show.
John lived much of his life managing and battling Type 1 diabetes. Though it brought daily challenges, he faced them with a bold resilience and never let it keep him from working hard or being deeply devoted to his family. He leaves behind his children, his greatest loves Dylan, Ciara, Carissa and Cheya; his parents, and his sisters, Michelle and Christa.
Though gone too soon, John will be remembered for his strength, devotion and love. May he now find peace at last.
